Question:

I am looking for a heavy duty solution that would allow for quick and easy deployment of a removable wheelboard.

Preferably with the receive receptacle mounted flush in the board.

The pin would have to work through 9mm or larger of wood and or aluminium extrusion.

Ideally the same fixing would allow us to remove wheelboards from racks and pin two racks on top of each other securely.

Dealing with weights in the region of 60-80kg for a fully loaded rack.

Probably with four fixings per board, 1 per corner.

Answer:

Typically quarter turns or imao products are not used into wood.

You should realise that it would be also better to mount a metal plate on the wood, so that with frequent use, the studs do not pull through your wood, and get non-usefull

There exist threaded receptacles but I do think that pricing will be outrageous for what you need. (10 to 100 more then if you take a standard flat receptacle)

If you can mount a standard receptacle at the back of your plate that would be ideal

It could be you can also mount at the side a clip on receptacle

threaded receptacle quarter turn

What quantities are you looking for, so I can immediately quote you

Would you need a stud that is operated with hand or a with a screwdriver?

Regarding the imao parts:

has only a tension load of 500 Newton = 50kg

so not enough

the larger version does the job, and has a receptacle that is flush.

(I would then go for the biggest, but you need to be able to mount your screws to install the stud into metal and not wood.

Please confirm if this is possible, there might be also issues if your wood is not hard enough when you install it into wood.
