yes, it's always best to ask,  the standard is a lock including a flat cam.
you'll still need to indicate whether you want a 20mm or 30mm cam.  The standard cams that are proposed can be viewed in the catalog.

if you want a different cam, such as a cranked cam, then we need to quote this.  consult here the different camlock cams

Cams are supplied with most of the quarter turn locks and are included in the part number.  This will vary depending on the size / type of cam specified.  With regard to camlock products, the cam is generally supplied separately according to the customer’s specification.  However, there are some exceptions where the cam is supplied as standard!

The part number 21084A means: Series 21, 8mm body length, Key Operation No. 4, Keyed Alike.  This part number does not include a cam.  The part number for a cam with the Series 21 would start with a 7.  This would be followed by the length, i.e., 7-20 would be a 20mm flat cam.  7-20V would be 20mm cam with a 3mm crank (bend).

If there is no cam delivered with the lock and this is not required, you would just need to state on the order that “No cams are required.”

camlock cams would be pretty much available in 1 week or quickly machined in the workshop.  If something non-standard is required then it may take longer and may also be subject to Minimum Order Quantities from the factory (usually 2/3,000 pieces).
