How to improve locking strength of V15R13-1-1AB and V15R14-1-1AB?

The old nut parts were made out of solid steel, which would fix better than the parts now which are made out of sheet metal.

So to have a better locking strength, we recommend to install two retaining nuts on 1 receptacle.

To have an even better locking functionality you can use Loctite.

Since there are so many variations it's up to the customer to choose which brand, however,

The receptacle is made out of Zinc die casting with a Zinc plating and the retaining nut is made out of steel with zinc plating.

Both are ChromeVI free.

Please make sure that the Loctite is compatible with the Zinc plating.
