How to install the invisible stud MPPTLI-*Z below length 8

The only shorter stud lengths available for the invisible stud MPPTLI-*Z are 6 and 7

In order to use the smaller stud lengths, please respect the minimum distance required of 4.3mm in order to properly use this part:

The top of the 4.3mm on the drawing above is the tip of the rivet or screw with which the part is installed.

In order to use the 6 or 7 stud length, this tip is what stands in the way of using the stud lengths 6 or 7.

This can be used by either screwing in a stud very tight and deep in the parent material, causing the screw to be flush.

Though Anemo Engineering recommends to use an adhesive or glue.

That way there is no issue of any protrusion and the stud length 6 or 7 can be used.

Welding used to be an option, though experience learned that while using spot welding you have a flush installation,

The welding isn't very precise which could damage the spring of the stud which is very close to it.

Therefore the welding part has been pulled out of production and it is not recommend to weld this part to the panel anymore.

Higher stud lengths, from 16 to 35 are also available, however the same spring is being used from stud length 6 to 15

By putting this spring on a higher stud length, the spring will sit loose on the stud and therefore losing part of the functionality.
