There doesn't exist a specific software tool to easily calculate this force. The minimum distance between the front hole of the latch and the holes of the strike is 47mm (as mentioned in the catalogue).

  To know the force in function of the hole distance, a test has been performed with the latch 1429L02-2X1BP and the strike 1429L9-1BP.   The results of this test are presented in a graph.

  The recommended hole distance is minimum 47,0 mm and maximum 48,5 mm.
