If you can switch receptacle & nut, you'll need to take attention because the new ones come with metric thread instead of imperial. typically if you have blind hole applications, where the thread is alreay made, you will not be able to switch. If you have a receptacle that is retained with a nut then you can switch, when you also switch the nut.

the nut in the old cadmium plated series is made of solid metal instead of sheet metal, which makes it stronger, there does not exist a solid nut in the new version, only one made out of sheet metal. We recommend therefore to order two nuts made of sheet metal and apply eventually lock-tite to secure the connection if needed. take care 15R10-1AC is inch size, this nut can be used in conjuction with receptacle 99R10-01A1 too)
