What is the difference between CL1032J and CL1032J-3 ?

Difference is the length of the insert.

The length is specified in 1/16 inch increments.

This is used only if length required is other than standard.

Inserts shorter than standard lengths have no counterbore unless requested.

So for the example of CL1032J and CL1032J-3:

-3 means 3 times 1/16 increments = 3/16" = 0.1875" = 4.7625mm
