What is the function of all the washers in the 717F and the PT10 series?

The compensating washer works as the spring function in this quarter turn assembly.

Usually, the spring function comes from the stud or the receptacle of the assembly.

But as there is no spring in neither of those series, this spring function needs to be compensated.

Therefor the compensating washer is used.

Secondly there is the protective washer.

This washer is necessary to protect the panels from usage.

When you open and close the panels it will start to wear.

Finally there is also the retaining washer.

The retaining washer is a vital part of the assembly.

It makes sure the stud stays in place when you open the assembly.
