What happens if you not adjust your varilift gas spring on your application?

With the varilift gas spring, you can adjust the power of the gas. The gas spring is delivered with the max of gas inside.

If you order a varilift with a force of 1200N and your application need a less force, please adjust the gas with the screw that you find betwwen the tube and the end fitting. 

Otherwise, if you absolutely try to close the cylinder without degas the gas spring at the right force, you may bend the cylinder rod.
