For which application and which market these products can be used ?
I see the clamping force of 170N but it is not as a fasteners.
Can you explain how you arrive at this clamping force ?

Quarter turns Indexing Clamps are the alternatives to indexing plungers.
In automation machinery, you change the position of the part by sliding or rotating.
And many people are using indexing plungers to lock the position like the following picture.

But there is a gap between the pin and the hole if you use index plungers and the gap allows the sliding or rotating part to move and shake during the machine operation.
To prevent this problem, people use a screw or a clamping lever to fix the sliding or rotating part.

Quarter turns Indexing Clamps have a tapered pin and it pushes the tapered bushing with 170N clamping force.
So there is no gap and the sliding or rotating part can be fixed securely.
In Japan, many customers are using this new product in a sliding plate application like this.
