Broaching tools are used to pre-broach holes for very hard materials with a hardness greater than 30 HRC or 300 Vickers. The broaching tool BT397-2 is used to pre-broach the following clinserts: CLH428J CLH420J CLX1032J CLX1024J MS51831-202 MS51831-102 MS51832-201 MS51832-101
This includes the locking versions as well as the inserts in different materials.
We recommend purchasing 1 set (=2 blades) extra with the tool: BTSB397H
When installing more than 10 inserts we recommend to use the stronger Resisteel® Tool which has been tested to last approximatly 50x longer: BTR397-2
Anemo isn’t able to ensure the quantity of holes that can be pre-broached, as it’s primarily dependent on the hardness of the parent material and the correct utilization of the tool.
