What happens if you do not give the proper thickness of your panels when installing the quarter turns

We always request to share with our engineers the exact panel thickness of your panels.

you should measure your panels with a minimum tolerance up to a 10th of a millimeter.
The stud length will change when you have just a slightly thicker or thinner panel.

be also aware that composite panels have never the same thickness on each place of the plates!

Here you see how you need to measure your total thickness of the panels: which is the G value.

 

 

 

In this example we initially got a value of around 3.5mm we have recommended to use the stud length number 4 which has a value of 3.55 - 4.30mm (imagine there was a sligth higher value, and in reality we would arrive to 3.56mm the length number 3 could not be used,

now we got back the real measured value and it shows 3.35mm, which falls into the tolerance of 2.8 till 3.55 mm ; which means stud length number 3 should have been used.
